This organization partners with families and others to create an environment in which individuals with Down syndrome are welcomed with fairness, enthusiasm, and encouragement in the community. They embrace inclusion at all levels of community life: schools, workplace, neighborhoods and churches. They believe that diversity should be embraced, not merely tolerated, because the entire community benefits when individuals with differences are valued.
The mission of this wonderful organization is to empower individuals, educate families, enhance communities and together, celebrate the extraordinary lives of people with Down syndrome.
The Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati has received grants through the Cambridge Charitable Foundation.
