The Urban Arts for All Abilities program is designed to enrich individuals of all abilities by empowering those individuals to reach their full potential through music, movement, and performing arts classes. The program serves a diverse group, primarily children ages 4-8, but adults with disabilities as well. Teachers are certified in DK methodology and have extensive arts education experience. Their present goal is to increase community awareness of their program by offering 50 one-hour demonstration sessions, at no charge, to 20 inner-city participants each session over the course of 30 weeks.
The Cambridge Charitable Foundation has issued a grant to Dramakinetics in support of their goal.
Dramakinetics of Cincinnati is one of only four non-profit organizations in the Greater Cincinnati area providing performing arts classes designed to purposefully include individuals of all abilities. Students can work on communication, social, and academic goals through the fun of performing arts.
