Wesley Chapel Mission Center

This Center is a guiding light and refuge in Over-the-Rhine and is an extension ministry of the United Methodist Church. Their goal is to be an agent of positive change so that the surrounding neighborhood becomes a place people desire to live and build community. Their hope is that their presence will challenge and encourage people to be assets in their community.

The Center offers many programs that are directed to children. KLASS (Keep Learning After School Stops) is their after school program for K-8th grades and weaves together academic assistance, Christian education and enriching activities. STAR Club (Science, Technology, Arithmetic and Reading) focuses on remedial academic assistance so that children can catch up through one-on-one tutoring. It is offered every Saturday morning and they always have more student requests to attend than they can match with adult tutors. Summer Camp runs in the afternoons, Monday-Friday. It is filled with games, snacks, Bible lessons, swimming, crafts, and academic activities. Super Saturdays are offered by groups from schools, churches, and businesses. Through Mom's Day Out, the neighborhood women enjoy sewing, crafting, and fellowship.
