University of Cincinnati, College of Business
The Ralph A. & Myrtle C. Cushman Business Scholarship Fund was established through the Ralph Cushman Endowment Fund of the Cambridge Charitable Foundation to recognize and give financial assistance to students in the University of Cincinnati College of Business program.
Students in Southwest Ohio are given preference for the scholarships and the recipients must have completed one full academic year at the University of Cincinnati. An overall GPA of 3.0 must also be reflected on the student's transcript to qualify for a scholarship. Scholarship recipients must commit to performing at least two hours of community service in a business related field each month during the academic year.
Some of the scholarship recipients explain how the scholarship has impacted their lives.
Matt Montag shares: "Receiving the Ralph A. and Myrtle C. Memorial Scholarship is such an honor for me. On top of the financial help that comes with the scholarship, I also feel an enhanced level of success for being recognized by such a respected foundation."
From Gage Whitehead: "The scholarship has provided me the opportunity to pursue my dreams and earn a degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Cincinnati. It has provided assistance in the difficult burden of tuition and allowed me to focus on my education and the many extracurricular activities that make UC special."
Jill Mackzum states: "I am extremely honored to be awarded this scholarship! I feel that without this scholarship and the honor of being a Kolodzik Business Scholar, I would not be able to make the most of my college experience."
"The Ralph A. and Myrtle C. Memorial Scholarship has impacted me tremendously. By providing financial support and academic recognition, I have been truly humbled and blessed to be a recipient of this award", are the words of Ryan Rosenberger.
